Staying in Cheap Disney Hotels ~ Walt Disney World® Resort in 3D with Google Earth

brought to you by: AHMTRAVEL.COM
By Jean Z. Mayfair

Every child's dream is a trip to Disneyworld or Disneyland, and it is one that every child should have the opportunity to fulfill. Unfortunately, though, the current state of the economy makes it virtually impossible for many families to take the trip of a lifetime to the Magic Kingdom, even if they are staying at cheap Disney hotels.

The truth is that for a family of four, a trip of one week to either of the Disney resorts will set you back at least $3,000 - and more if you stay at the higher end hotels. But, you can enjoy a great trip by staying at some of the cheap Disney hotels without ever feeling like you are missing out on anything.

If you use some of the tools online, like the Ultimate Disney World Savings Guide, you will learn more ways to save tons of money when you visit either of the Disney parks. From staying at cheap Disney hotels (or even the more expensive ones at a discount price), to knowing when and how to buy your passes, you simply won't believe the amount of money you can save.

Imagine how much fun you could have if you had an extra $1,000 or more in your pocket to play around with while you were on vacation? It is possible if you know the right way to buy your vacation, how to buy your passes and tickets, and where to stay.

No child should be denied a trip to Disneyland or Disney World because it is the place where family memories are made. If you can get the same trip at half the price, you will be able to have a lot more fun while you are there, and not worry about buying that Mickey Mouse hat when you are getting ready to leave the park.

Jean Mayfair is a writer, bargain hunter, and an expert on cheap Disney hotels. Check out her website for tons of tips and tricks on how to get the best deals for your Disney World vacation!

Oasis of the Seas, The Worlds Largest Cruise Ship

brought to you by: AHMTRAVEL.COM
By S Brage

The Oasis of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship, had more media coverage than any other new ship to date, but now that the hype is over, is the cruise ship going to live up to expectations? We were lucky enough to be on the first sailing of the Oasis of the Seas and would like to share our thoughts and impressions with you.

The Oasis is like an urban community at sea, where guests can seek out neighborhoods that fit their personalities and interests: you can stroll through entertainment districts, eat in sidewalk cafes, relax in a tree filled park or indulge in over 10,000 square feet of shops. There are a total of 7 distinct neighborhoods.

Central Park: Spanning more than a football field in length, and open to the sky, pleasant surprises include quiet reading areas, a Chess Gardens with large scale pieces, the Pergola Garden, an interpretive garden featuring vegetation from various caribbean locales, and a sculpture garden highlighting work by international artists. 254 balcony cabins overlook Central Park. A horticulturist will offer tours throughout the cruise. During the day you can lounge around, stroll along the winding paths or enjoy lunch at the Park Cafe. In the evenings, Central Park comes alive with a wine bar and three specialty restaurants to choose from. One of the most surprising things for me was that there was a lovely breeze in Central Park even when the ship was not moving.

The Boardwalk: The first thing you see when you enter this area is a beautiful hand-carved wooden carousel. There is no charge for the two minute ride, and plenty of adults were enjoying themselves throughout the day. Walk through and you will feel like you are in Coney Island, where you can enjoy shops, various restaurants and carnival games. At the end of the Boardwalk is the 600 seat AquaTheatre. Two rock climbing walls are cleverly included in this area.

Royal Promenade: This area is considered the heart of the Oasis of the Seas. You can watch street performers and parades, enjoy nine restaurants and trendy bars or shop at more than half a dozen shops. Don't forget to stop at the first ever cupcake shop at sea, the Cupcake Cupboard where you can choose from different flavors daily. The Rising Tide Bar takes you from the Promenade deck up to Central Park while you enjoy a drink and amazing views.

Pool & Sports Zone: Adventurous guests will love this area. Try your hand at surfing on one of two FlowRider surf simulators. Join a game of basketball or ride a zipline nine stories up. While on the zipline, look down for a amazing views of the Boardwalk, especially at night. For the less adventurous, you can play mini-golf or relax in the Solarium, which is an adult only area with its own pool and four whirlpools. Kids can enjoy the H2O zone with playful spray jets, a slide and wading pools. This neighborhood has a total of eight restaurants and bars.

Vitality at Sea Spa & Fitness Center: Visit the Thermal suites, enjoy a relaxing spa treatment or work out on more than 100 cardio and resistance machines. Take a yoga, spinning or kickboxing class. There's even a list of spa treatments for kids and teens.

Entertainment Place: This is the entertainment district on the Oasis. Watch the Broadway musical Hairspray, enjoy amazing ice skating shows, see live jazz performances or stand up comedy. You can also dance the night away at the nightclub or try your luck at the casino.

Youth Zone: Over 28,000 square feet are dedicated to children of all ages. Not only are there individual programs for various age groups each with their own counselors, computers and activities, but they also include time to participate in experiments in the first ever Science Lab at sea, as well as art and crafts time in the Imagination Studio with great Crayola products. There is a 100 seat Adventure Ocean theater which lets kids learn about theater arts and performing. Teens have their own area one deck up with a nightclub, outdoor area and lounge. First ever at sea, is a program designed for children 6 months to 3 years of age (called Royal Tots).

The ship offers a number of other cruise industry firsts. There is an 18 foot pool, where those interested can take scuba diving lessons during the day. The pool is located in the Aqua Theatre, which also offers elaborate water shows by night with divers and fountains synchronized with music. There is an Auburn Speedster in the Promenade. Perhaps the boldest move was the number of tropical plants that need to be maintained in the Central Park neighborhood. There are over 12,000 trees plants, vines and flowers.

The ship is very easy to get around, and if you are unsure how to get somewhere, there are electronic signs near every elevator. All you have to do is punch in your cabin number and it will show you the way. You can also see the daily cruise activities and restaurant menus from this screen.

Is the ship perfect, no. We found the counter space in the cabins to be too small. For much of the entertainment, you need to get tickets in advance as performances sell out, which means people may have to be on more of a schedule than they would like to see some of these attractions. We are concerned with parking when the ship is full, as there is no shuttle service once the two nearby parking lots are full. We have heard some complaints that the ports of call are not exciting. True, but the ship is a destination in itself.

We realize that the Oasis is not for everyone, which is why it's so wonderful that there are so many amazing cruise options these days. We can all agree on one thing, that the Oasis of the Seas is a beautiful and innovative ship.

RV Types - Described and Explained ~ RV Today Archive- Luxury Resorts

brought to you by: AHMTRAVEL.COM
By Ed Simon

The several categories of recreational vehicle (RV) types will be explored. Each type of RV will be discussed in terms of what it is and some of its features. There are basically seven types of RVs, with many makes and models available for each type. The seven types are:

• Pop-up
A pop-up camper is a 2 wheel unit that can be towed behind a van, pickup truck, or SUV. It is soft sided, collapses down for towing, and cranks up for camping use. It would have a sink, stove, and small refrigerator. A pop-up would most likely be used for weekend outings and vacations, sleeping four fairly comfortably.

• Truck Camper
A truck camper attaches in the bed of a pickup truck. It is generally a hard sided unit, but some have soft sides that require the unit to be cranked up for use. It would have a small kitchen, furnace, A/C, and sometimes a bathroom. A truck camper would again most likely be used for short duration outings as the interior is small, sleeping 2 comfortably.

• Trailer
A trailer camper is generally a 2 axle unit that requires a pickup truck or van to tow it. These rigs are hard sided units with many available features. You could expect to find a full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, furnace and A/C in these units. They are designed for long term living, with the floor plan determining how many can comfortably be accommodated, which is usually between two and six.

• Fifth Wheel
A fifth wheel camper is a trailer type that has a hitch point that attaches the unit into the bed of a pickup truck. These units can be quite elaborate and large, with wall slide outs that increase the available living space. You will find all features for full time living, including kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc. They are usually designed for two people, but would have space for one or two guests.

• Class B
A class B is designed on a van chassis, with the interior converted for living. These units have all of the features needed for long term living, just on a smaller scale. Their main advantage is that you can use them as your living quarters and also as your main source of transportation. They are designed for use by two people.

• Class C
A class C is a motorized unit designed on a large truck chassis. There will be a sleeping area over the cab and a main sleeping area in the rear. Again, all standard features are in these rigs, including kitchen and bathroom. They are set up for long term or full time living for two people, with space for two guests comfortably.

• Class A
A class A is the large motorized unit that can approach the size of a bus. They have all the features necessary for full time living, with king size beds and some times a second bathroom available. They are designed for use by two people for extended living and/or travel. The units can be either gas or diesel powered. They can tow a car, which is needed for local transportation when traveling in a class A.

If you enjoy traveling and the outdoors, I'm sure the thought of having your living accommodations with you is enticing. One of these unit types is likely to fit your budget and family travel needs.

brought to you by: AHMTRAVEL.COM
by: Tia Jones

If you happen to visit the Capital during Christmas, you will experience an extraordinary festival spirit which you would rarely come across in any other city within United States. Here are a few interesting places to visit during your Washington, D.C. sightseeing tours in Christmas.

National Christmas Tree Lighting

Witness the spectacular National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Ellipse, south of the White House. Since 1923, the United States has held a tradition of lighting a National Christmas Tree in Washington, DC., a 40-foot Colorado blue spruce, surrounded by 56 smaller, decorated trees representing all 50 states, five territories, and the District of Columbia. The lighting of the National Christmas Tree is the beginning of a three week Washington, DC Christmas tradition. This year, the event had introduced a new lottery system to distribute tickets to the general public. The new online lottery was available November 4th to November 6th 2099 on thenationaltree.org.

Festival of Lights at Mormon Temple

Mormon Temple, which is the Washington, DC Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosts excellent musical performances, nativity exhibits, and exclusive Christmas films in its state-of-the-art theater. The church and its surrounding are bedecked with sparkling lights during Christmas making it a sight not to be missed during your Washington, D.C. tour

U.S. Botanic Garden

The U.S. Botanic Garden presents a unique exhibit featuring phenomenal replicas of Washington, DC's most famous buildings and monuments. The U.S. Botanic Garden has a special Christmas show and display that opens on Thanksgiving Day and remains open through the first Sunday in January, every day including Christmas and New Year's. It showcases model trains made up of real plant material and a fantastic botanical display which is delightful to watch at.

Mount Vernon Candlelight Tours

Enjoy candlelit walks, fireside caroling and festive ambience of the 18th century Christmas during Mount Vernon Candlelight Tours. Visitors learn about the Christmas traditions of George Washington and his family, meet historic characters and tour the Mount Vernon Estate by candlelight with hot cider and ginger cookies. The interesting part of the candlelight tour is the final stop, where guests get to know about 18th century Christmas cooking. Visitors are given a complimentary copy of Martha Washington's famous cake recipe.

The National Zoo

The National Zoo presents a display of thousands of sparkling lights featuring sculptures of many of the Zoo's most popular animals, including giant pandas, Asian elephants, gibbons, and sea lions as a part of the Christmas celebration. This exclusive celebration is called ZooLights, popular for its live entertainment, storytelling and cookie decorating events, ice-sculpting demonstrations, and special choral group singing during Christmas.

The Magic of Camp Fires on Safari in Africa ~ " I Will Always Love You " Whitney Houston from South Africa

brought to you by: AHMTRAVEL.COM

By Jacquie Stafford

There's nothing quite like sitting around a camp fire to experience the real magic of Africa. This is a very special part of being in the African bush. And it's very much part of the whole way of life on safari.

After dinner one heads for the fire - usually a big blaze of logs surrounded by directors chairs. Next is to be served your drink of choice - mine's usually a good brandy - by a friendly, smiling waiter. As you sit in companionable company, tales of the day's sitings are the usual topic of conversation. This is interspersed with the pleasure of meeting new folk from all over the world.

Occasionally the group stops and listens in awed silence as the roar of a lion is heard in the distance or the sound of hyenas comes through the night. The beauty of the bush is the quietness, broken only by the sounds of nocturnal animals, and the hushed chatter of safari guests.

Another big plus of the camp fire ritual is the opportunity to star gaze. There's nothing quite like the African sky when seen from a remote spot in the bush. Here it's black and studded with millions of stars. No city lights or pollution to obscure the view - just pure, unadulterated starlight.

Often it's hard to drag oneself away from the camp fire and give up the special ambience to head for one's room. However the prospect of a very early start the next morning usually persuades everyone to reluctantly leave the camp fire, secure in the knowledge that there'll be another one tomorrow night. Life on safari in Africa is good, and the evening camp fire an integral part of the total experience.

Jacquie Stafford has lived in Africa for over 40 years and has a passion for travel and wildlife. She now designs personalised tours to some of Africa's most exciting destinations. For more insights on safari life visit her website - http://www.kunjani.co.za

Continental Airlines flight lands safely in Newark after pilot died

Nearly 250 airline passengers landed safely at their destination after the captain of the plane died mid-flight.

The Continental Airlines Boeing 777 from Brussels to New York landed as scheduled at Newark airport shortly before 1200 (1600 GMT).

Two co-pilots took control and landed the plane, authorities said.

The 247 passengers knew someone on board had been taken ill but were not told that the pilot had died. Many praised the calm conduct of the crew.

The captain apparently died of natural causes, the airline said.

He was a 60-year-old man with more than 20 years of service.

'Distressing'

There were two co-pilots on board - the regular co-pilot and an additional relief co-pilot - when the pilot passed away.

viation writer from the UK - told BBC News the plane would have been difficult to land with only one pilot at the controls, as might have been the case on flights manned by only two pilots.

"You could, I gather, land a 777 single-handed - but it would require a lot of effort and it would appear [in this case there was] a very young co-pilot - so if there was another one, that would help.

"It would be very difficult, very distressing. I don't know if this [scenario] is carried out on simulator training or not.

"It's very, very rare - and it would appear that the surviving crew member carried it out very well indeed."

Passengers' surprise

Passengers say they were not told about the events in the cockpit during the flight, though there was an announcement asking if doctors were on board.

Many praised the conduct of the crew when they learned of the unusual circumstances of the landing.

"I think this crew deserves a lot of credit for remaining as calm and as professional as they did," an unnamed passenger told Reuters news agency.

"There was no sign of any concern, no sign of any trouble - we had a picture-perfect landing in horrible weather here in New Jersey and I think we ought to be hailing these people as heroes - I mean they did an outstanding job."

Others said they were surprised to see so many emergency services lined up on the runway on landing.

When the crew asked if there were doctors on the flight, Dr Julien Struyven, 72, a cardiologist and radiologist from Brussels, went to the cockpit and examined the pilot.

"He was not alive," Dr Struyven told AP. There was "no chance at all" of saving him, he said.

Dr Struyven said he suspected the pilot had suffered a cardiac arrest. He said he used a defibrillator to try and revive the pilot, but it was too late.

Pilots are subject to rigorous medical checks which increase in frequency with age.

Trinidad Attorney General Forced Out Of Office, Say Sources

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad -- Trinidad and Tobago Attorney General Bridgid Annisette-George was reportedly forced out of government, sources close to her said this week.

Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Patrick Manning. AFP PHOTO
The Guardian newspaper reported that the AG was asked to relinquish office because she did not approve the Robert Lindquist investigation into the controversial Cleaver Heights Housing Project in Arima, and also because she appeared "soft" in dealing with certain legal matters against the Jamaat at Muslimeen.

But Prime Minister Patrick Manning, in a ministerial statement in Parliament on Wednesday, said that Annisette-George submitted her resignation on Tuesday because of an imminent conflict of interest in the CLICO matter. The government has commenced forensic audit of CLICO after it approved a billion dollar bail out of the financially-troubled insurance company.

Manning told Parliament that the Attorney General had indicated to him that she anticipated that there will be a conflict of interest in the CLICO matter.

The Prime Minister told Parliament, "Mr Speaker, the Attorney General decided to do the honorable thing. Yesterday she submitted her resignation to the Prime Minister."

Manning expressed gratitude to Annisette-George for her contributions to the People's National Movement and the government of Trinidad and Tobago.

President Of Taiwan Arrives In Belize With 210-Member Entourage

By Oscar Ramjeet
Caribbean Net News Special Correspondent

BELMOPAN, Belize – The President of Taiwan, Ma Ying-jeou, and his wife, Chow Mei-ching, are leading a 210-member entourage to Belize via private aircraft on Wednesday, officials of the Embassy of Taiwan in Belize.

Ma Ying-Jeou, AFP PHOTO
The Embassy of Taiwan in Belize's Second Secretary Douglas Chang and other senior officials met with Belize Press Office director Seth Hernandez to brief the Belize media.

According to Amandala media on Tuesday, Chang disclosed that 40 government officials and over 40 journalists from the public and sectors are on the list of delegates. Apart from them, sixteen performers from Ju Percussion Group will accompany the distinguished party.

Reports from Belize state that, even though the Ju team will bring the flamboyance of Taiwan's dance, music and drama, the highlight of the visit will be the signing of a technical co-operation agreement between Belize and Taiwan, and the groundbreaking for the Information and Communications Technology Centre on Mountain View Boulevard in Belmopan.

Amandala reported that, despite the fact that Taiwan's state-owned company, Chinese Petroleum Corporation (CPC), has a substantial oil exploration concession for offshore Belize, officials from the Embassy and the Belize Press Office claimed, when asked, that oil is not on the agenda.

There are 1,000 Taiwanese living in Belize and President Ma will host a dinner for the Taiwanese community at the Radisson Fort George Hotel in Belize City.

President Ma will pay a courtesy call on the Governor General Sir Colville Young before he proceeds to the National Assembly Building for a ceremonial joint Sitting of the House of Representatives and the Senate.

President Ma, who is a graduate of Harvard Law School, the same university attended by US President Barack Obama, is fluent in English.

On Thursday afternoon, the technical co-operation agreement will be signed and ground broken for the ICT Centre, after which Ma heads back to the Belize City for a state dinner.

Before serving of the evening meal, he and Prime Minister Barrow will exchange top national honours. Ma receives the Order of Belize while Barrow receives the Order of Propitious Clouds with Special Grand Cordon.

After Belize's visit President Ma will go to Guatemala and on Monday June 1 he will travel to El Salvador for the inauguration of that country's new president, Mauricio Funes.

Commentary: Complement, Not Compete - St Maarten Shares Its Vision

By Bevan Springer Caribbean Net News

The scriptures teach us that there is safety in the multitude of counselors, and following a recent visit to the Dutch Caribbean territory of St Maarten I got the impression that tourism leaders there - from the director of tourism to the head of a local destination management company - have expelled insularity from their thinking, opting instead to embrace a regional identity and spirit of cooperation.

Bevan Springer, the Director of Counterpart International's Caribbean Media Exchange on Sustainable Tourism (CMEx), is a journalist and communications advisor.
Earlier this year a retired New York television producer made a comment to me that suggested she couldn't understand why Caribbean nations would combine resources to promote competing experiences. Aren't you each in competition with each other? she wondered.

I told the lady that Martinique, for example - which is essentially a part of France - was only a short ferry ride away from St Lucia. And while our nations do compete for business, wouldn't it be powerful to see St Lucia and Martinique holding hands in the marketplace to promote a French Creole twin-island experience? After all, the Caribbean's real competition comes from outside the region.

On another occasion, integrating a second Caribbean hotel for a foreign press itinerary I was preparing for a primary hotel client may have been surprising to some. While maximizing exposure for one's client clearly is important, I also believe it is important for visiting journalists to understand and appreciate the diverse accommodation attractions which can lend to multi-vacation experiences even in the same country. Not only does it stimulate demand in the marketplace, but also fosters healthy relationships among partner hoteliers on island.

Life is too short for us to overlook opportunities to set a new standard for our children's children.

Every Caribbean country is increasingly becoming a melting pot, comprising nationals from within and without our waters, and while we ought to develop a manageable approach to the movement of people, we must also fervently strengthen our familial ties.

Regina Labega, St Maarten's Director of Tourism (left) stands next to Ida Zin-Ka-Ieu, President of French St Martin's Tourism
Regina Labega, St Maarten's Director of Tourism, believes that since "we are friends, neighbors, family and relatives," it not only makes sense, but it is also imperative that Caribbean countries work together to raise all sails.

In her country of St Maarten, tourism officials have attracted enviable airlift from both the legacy and low cost carrier thanks in part to this partnership philosophy.

Speaking in between appointments at the recent SMART travel show at the Radisson St. Martin Resort, Marina & Spa, Labega explained that St. Maarten is blessed with a strategic geographic position and her Caribbean neighbors have become very dependent on the newly unveiled Princess Juliana International Airport to attract visitors to their shores. "We recognize that people who go to Anguilla, for example, for their primary vacation experience also come to St Maarten for a day or two to experience the shopping and nightlife. Similarly, the converse is also true. Therefore, instead of competing with one another, we complement each other."

The tourism director admits that regional cooperation is not as easy as it sounds, but lauded her neighbors Anguilla, St Barts and St Martin for partnering with St Maarten to support a US$300,000 cooperative marketing campaign to attract JetBlue Airways' non-stop services from the northeastern seaboard to the island. "We went together to JetBlue. We discussed the relationship, how the public and private sectors will work together and that was extremely successful. If we would do that more often it would bear more fruit for sure."

African/Caribbean author Fabian Badejo, a veteran media practitioner on St Maarten who recently started the East Caribbean Destination Management Company, writes that the St Martin-St Maarten experience is neither Fantastically French nor Delightfully Dutch. "It is really neither French nor Dutch. The soul of its people is undoubtedly Caribbean, charismatically Caribbean."

And so are our Caribbean island nations and countries, who have produced some of the world's greatest authors, poets, scientists, mathematicians, lawyers, politicians, engineers, surgeons, trade union leaders, business professionals, cricketers, athletes and the like.

As we march onwards, let our successes and our failures teach us that the sum is greater than the parts, and maybe one day we'll identify ourselves as Caribbean first, then St Maartener, Barbadian, Jamaican and Trinidadian a distant second.

The region should be thankful to St Maarten for showing us what the future could possibly look like. Maybe we should seek its counsel.

Another US Company To Shift Incorporation From Bermuda

NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES, USA (Reuters) -- Technology outsourcing and consulting firm Accenture Ltd said on Tuesday it plans to change its place of incorporation to Ireland from Bermuda, joining an exodus of large US companies as the US government plans to tighten tax rules.

Accenture said it does not expect any material change in its financial results or tax treatment, but said Ireland will provide economic benefits. Its board unanimously approved the move, it said.

"A member of the European Union, Ireland offers a sophisticated, well-developed corporate, legal and regulatory environment," Accenture Chief Executive William Green said in a statement.

Several large companies incorporated in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands are eyeing a shift to Europe in search of more favorable tax treatment and other benefits, ahead of legislation aimed at tightening rules that allow firms to defer tax payments on overseas profits if earnings are plowed back into foreign subsidiaries.

Countries like Ireland and Switzerland, which have tax treaties with the United States, are seen likely to benefit. Companies like Tyco International Ltd and Tyco Electronics Ltd, Weatherford International Ltd (WFT.N) and Foster Wheeler Ltdhave also announced plans to move to incorporate in Europe.

Accenture added that it plans to stay registered with the US Securities and Exchange Commission and that it expects the move to take effect shortly after shareholder approval. Shareholders will vote on the move at meetings within the next three to four months, it said.

Accenture said it has a 40-year history in Ireland, with various clients including the Irish government.

Helpful Tips - Where To Market Your Vacation Rental

By: Kenny Doucette

Owners of Florida vacation rentals are always looking for ways to advertise their properties in the most economical way and targeting sites that get them the biggest bang for their bucks. Following are a few tips that might help you determine where to spend your hard earned money to market your Vacation Rental on the Internet:

Advertising in the local news paper is very expensive, has a limited range for reaching potential renters and does not use the current method used by most folks researching the best deals. The Internet is where most people do their research, shopping & buying. In the book “How to Rent Vacation Properties By Owner”, author Christine Karpinski recommends that owners look for the following when selecting a website to advertise their properties:

A. Basic features that all Vacation Rental websites should have:
The ability to easily create the listing in a comprehensive way.
The ability to update and change your rates, photos and other listing info on a regular basis.
The website should be listed within the Top 10 for search engines in your category.

B. Advanced features that are nice to have but not always available:
Property availability calendars and reservation request forms.
Foreign language and currency conversion to expand potential renter audience.
Map features and links to your Property Website & Virtual Tour.
Easy search functions that allow a potential renter to easily search for and find your property.

Vacation Rental websites typically charge a "Membership Fee" ranging between $99 and $300 per year. There are also many websites out there that are offering free listings.

Your objective should be to get as much visibility as you can for your properties by selecting vacation rental websites that place consistently on the 1st Page results on the major Search Engines Google, Yahoo, & MSN for Keywords related to your property and its location.

An example of a common search for properties located in Daytona Beach would be: Daytona Beach vacation rentals or vacation rental homes in Daytona Beach. There are any numbers of Keyword combinations to use when doing your search...just try to keep track of which Vacation Rental websites continue to show up during your search.

I usually make a list of the top 10 vacation rental portals when doing a search for vacation rentals in my city and then start paring it down by reviewing the number of rentals in my city and the quality of the site. Usually those two things go hand and hand…but not always. I am often times amazed at the quality, or lack of, when referring to some of the most popular and effective vacation rental portals. It’s nice to see that now some of the older sites are getting a face lift and making the whole experience more users friendly and appealing.

The bottom line is that, in order to receive inquiries and make bookings, your vacation home needs to be found when your potential renter is searching in your city. Each vacation rental portal offers something different in the way they allow you to make your Listing stand out. Do your homework and choose wisely…your success in the “business” depends on it.

Kenny Doucette, Sales & Marketing Director for Florida Vacation Rentals, recommends listing your Daytona Beach Vacation Rentals on at least 3 good websites that show up well when you do a search for vacation rentals in your city.

Jamaica Tropical Island Vacation Specials !!!

Pull on your bathing suit for a climb up Dunn's River's magnificent 600-foot waterfall. Hear the gush of water below and let the fall's cool spray on your skin power your climb. When you reach the top, reward your legs and sit down in the shade of a leafy palm for a traditional hair-braid.

If the fall isn't the only thing watering, head for Ocho Rios Village Jerk Chicken Center and order up some icy Red Stripes and platefuls of jerk-seasoned chicken and spare ribs. After lunch, wash off your sauce-covered face and sticky hands with a snorkel session in St. Anns Bay.

When night falls, feel Jamaica's rhythm in your hips; swivel them on over to Reggae Strip, lined with houses painted in bright colors and where the sound of steel drums fills the air. End the evening with a mai-tai at Mahogany Beach, where people come together to down rum and dance on the beach.
