Souvenirs
This is what we generally give to our friends and all. The little Eiffel tower is a very famous souvenir along with the T-shirts that you can easily find in many areas of Paris. If you want it to be very special then go for some up market stores and shop, where you will enjoy shopping.

Food and Wine
You can have the best of the wines and also take home different stuffs like curd milk, cheese and others. If you are a regular visitor here then trying your hands in buying something out of the league will be pretty refreshing. Paris has lots of stuff regarding food which you can buy and most important of all they are very good in quality.

So, by now you would have got some ideas of what to buy in one of the most charming and fashionable cities of the world. Apart from shopping one can also enjoy visiting historical monuments, museums and art galleries and take back the memories that will be cherished throughout your life.

The Network Marketing Concept

The Internet has been a good source of information for people worldwide. The innovation of new technologies pushed the World Wide Web to evolve as well; thus, online business was born.

Affiliate marketing on the Internet is one way to conduct business transactions to give your income a boost. Since the ability to do payments is now integrated into the Internet system, many have found that doing business online is lucrative and hassle-free.

The Concept of Affiliate and Network Marketing

Being an online salesman is much easier that going door-to-door to sell your product. Affiliate marketing has the same concept, yet with a different twist. Using the Internet, you can search thousands of products to affiliate with, and sell to make a decent profit.

Also, the Internet can give you an unlimited number of prospect customers for your product, and you don't have to travel around the world to do so. All you need to do is to send them an email that will serve as your communication with them.

Steps to Affiliate and Network Marketing

1. The first step to get started with affiliate marketing is to search out a profitable product to sell. There are plenty of Web sites that offer countless of products by different producers worldwide. My particular product is Travel and Health Care.

You have to make sure that the product you chose has a positive review, and will conform to the needs and wants of many online consumers. Travel is a 7 billion dollar industry and expected to grow to 11 billion.

2. You need to create a Web site where you can post the product's information in detail, and make it accessible to different surfers. You may also need to subscribe your site to many search engines so that you will be included in search listings as is http://www.ahmtravelblog.com

If you already have a site on the Web for your affiliate product, you need to make sure that it integrates the methods for SEO or Search Engine Optimization. SEO will make sure that your site will be on the top list of search results by search engines.

3. Create articles with keywords or key word phrase that will promote your product and your business. Not only will positive articles give your product a good review to various consumers, you can also use it for SEO purposes.

3. Aside from searching email addresses to market your product to different consumers, you can implement a guest book in your Web space to collect information. This will also provide a great opportunity for your site's visitor to interact with you directly and be aware of their sentiments regarding your affiliate product.

4. Last but not the least, you need to drive more traffic to your Web site. You can do link building with other popular sites to increase traffic to yours.

Warning! Stop Joining MLMs

I joined a Network Marketing company, Amway in the 80's and this is what I learned. I had reached a sales volume of 7500.00 a month. That means that I was receiving checks and paying my team. To maintain that volume I found that I was holding party/demos on a regular basis while maintaining a full time job. My part time job was was eating up my free time and was not paying me enough to go full time.

The problem then is the same as it has always been. Finding The Right People!. Back then there was no internet so I "Showed The Plan" to friends and friends of friends. That was Network Marketing back then. I wanted to make some money and I was spending more in gas and time than it was worth so I stopped.

Then the other day in a forum on Myspace, a woman commented in a blog that YTB had a "Domino Effect" before you get paid. That you have to get people in before you make money? Usually I don't reply to YTB comments, but this was an uneducated attack on the entire industry. An industry that had paid me, although at the time I was too young to understand. Too young to understand that whatever I did to make $2.00, I could do it 500,000 more times to make a Million Dollars! Let me spell it out for you.MLM's ARE NOT A GET MONEY QUICK GIMMICK! They are a BUSINESS and should be treated as such. I know your friends talked you into joining, or you saw the benefits of a product and figured you too could make money selling that product or service. But if you're not making the money you expected, "You're On The Right Path!"

Everyone has heard that 90-95% of business fail within the first year. Do you think MLM's are any different? Well they are, "They Are Worse!" Why? Because they are being sold as Get Rich Easy Gimmicks! They Are Not.! What they are is Legitimate businesses. That is if you join a legitimate company.

Do not expect a check every 2 weeks. Do not expect to get paid if you do not work, unless you have created "Residual Income." Do not expect to have a Million Dollar business selling to your friends and family. Do not expect that everyone will think you're product is the answer to their problems. Do expect people to go the other way when they see you coming, so they do not have to listen to your sales pitch.

Get The Point? It's not the MLM, It's You! You decided to start a business without thinking about it as a business. What? You knew it was a business and still don't understand why these these are happening to you? You don't understand why you are not making any money? In a word, Marketing. How are you marketing your business? Is your sponsor making money? If they are have them teach you how they built they're business. Nothing is better than having a
Mentor. A mentor that will explain to you how to find people interested in finding your product or service. A mentor that will show you the best way to market your problems. After all, they are making money, right? What if your sponsor is not making money? What if your sponsor is in the same boat as you?

Judging by the number of disgruntled MLM'ers. I would venture a guess to say that a number of sponsors have no idea on how to run a Network Marketing or Direct Sales Online Business. What do you do?

You learn marketing! You learn to "Enjoy The Ride." You own your own business now. Decide to enjoy doing what it takes to grow it to be successful. I study. I read blogs, articles, books and I listen to podcast. Why? Because things change. I no longer do business the same way I did in the 80's. Now I use the Internet. You have a business, you need to keep abreast of current marketing techniques. Want to know what I have learned. No, put your credit card away!

What I have done is I have either written, or I have found articles that pertain to what has helped me build my Online Business. These articles are and will run the gamut of what you need to do to run a successful Online Business. One Day, I plan to put it all in an ebook and charge you for it. But till then, I am storing this information in one of my blogs.

That blog is the Internet Surfer Marketer, The I.S.M . It's purpose is to help people that I sponsor run a successful Online Business by putting all this information in one place. If they don't make money, I don't make money so a good part of my time is mentoring others in our business line. You're welcome to the blog for now.

Concluding, MLM's work if you market them. Building a Business from the ground up takes time, and knowledge. If you do not know marketing, you need to learn. Avail yourself of "Free Information" like The Internet Surfer Marketer before it becomes a commercial site selling my ebooks, videos and CDs. If you decided that you do want to join an MLM with multiple product lines and, with a sponsor who has already teaching how to make money online, then fill out this FORM and learn more about my business.

St. Kitts Launches Twitter Tourism Account

St. Kitts established a Twitter account for tourism. Found under the username StKittsTourism, the account is a means of providing media, travel agents, tour operators and potential travelers with continued news and information about St. Kitts. The St. Kitts Tourism Authority’s official Twitter account is regularly updated with news, information, images and articles about the destination. Accessible to Internet users globally, it features the St. Kitts logo, various island images (via Twitpic) and a link to the islands official tourism website, www.stkittstourism.kn. As Twitter is considered to be a form of social media, anyone can sign up to follow St. Kitts and thereby reply directly to posts, re-tweet posts, tag posts as favorites or reference the news and information provided for their own use.

Twitter has been growing exponentially, becoming popular with consumers as well as journalists as a primary source of information in today’s real-time news environment, said Sen. Ricky Skerritt, Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Culture. In such a competitive market, it is important for St. Kitts to utilize this affordable and effective communications tool to connect directly with our past and potential island visitors, and increase awareness for our tourism product in general.

Created in 2006, Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length which are displayed the users profile/blog, searchable on Twitter search, and delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (called followers). Users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, SMS or various external applications. Estimates of the number of Twitter users vary, as the company does not release its number of active accounts, but generally range between 800,000 and several million. In March 2009, a Nielsen.com blog ranked Twitter as the fastest growing site in the Member Communities category for February 2009 with a growth of 1,382 percent. Visit www.twitter.com and sign up to follow StKittsTourism. St. Kitts social media presence also includes the recently created Facebook fan page, entitled My St. Kitts. For more information, call 800-582-6208, email info@stkittstourism.kn or visit www.stkittstourism.kn.

Being Successful At Affiliate Marketing Is Still Easier

By: SUMAN

Perhaps, because of the ease of both the setup and operation, people over look a lot of things when actually signing up for an affiliate program. For more details go to: www.boost-website-traffic.com. To ensure that you have success, start by choosing the right affiliate program. Here are some of the things to look for.

The affiliate program you choose to work with has to be reputable of course, not just for financial reason but for personal reasons as well.

If you offer low quality products or services you risk jeopardizing your personal reputation. Because it is very difficult to redeem yourself working at home online, its important that you take the time to research the company and test the products being offered before offering them.

One of the first things you should check for are references. What are other people saying about it? A good place to look is on sites that report on affiliate programs. You can ask members of the forum if they have used the program and their opinions of it. People on business or affiliate forums generally give honest reviews of the programs.

1) However, even the best reviewed program isn't worth your time if the commissions are too low to draw a steady income. You want to invest your time into programs that offer 50% or higher. Also look at how much you earn for the program. You don't want to put your efforts into an affiliate marketing program that only pays you two dollars for your efforts.

When looking for affiliate marketing programs, opt for those that pay a residual income. These are programs that pay you over and over again for doing the job once. For example, if the customer bought from you once you would be rewarded if they bought another item in the future.

But the program should have a reliable payment system. There isn't anything worse than working hard to make the sales and then waiting around to get paid. Unfortunately, even legitimate companies can have payment slip ups. To avoid being left waiting for your money, check the payment background of the company. How often do they pay their working at home affiliates and when how often do they have problems"?

Good affiliate programs also offer support in the form of tools, resources and even a personal mentor. You shouldn't feel like you're all on your own doing everything from scratch. Its also important that you like the niche.

A major reason people fail is they don't take the time to find affiliate marketing programs that they can successfully promote. It doesn't matter how great the program is, if you have no interest in the products or services. Whats more it has to match your website theme otherwise you wont be able to target the right market.

You have to consider the global market when you are choosing a working at home affiliate program. It doesn't make sense to opt for a program that has outdated products or no longer serves a wide market. What are some of the trends? What are people putting their money into, and do they have long term market potential?

Getting off on the right foot is the best way to ensure long term success. To do this use some of the tips above to help you choose the right affiliate marketing program working at home.

Strange, But True

Strange, But True

By Stacey Small
You can make money booking airlines with the right host agency

The strangest thing happened to me the other day. I received the nicest email from an airline sales representative, who introduced himself to me and told me that if I ever need anything just to let him know. Say what?

While it struck me as odd that a rep from a major U.S. carrier would take the time to send such an email to an independent agent at home like myself, it also came as quite a pleasant surprise. After all, I do book many tickets on this particular carrier—often in the front of the plane and often overseas. So that most likely was the reason for the personal introduction, which occurred when he learned of my alignment with one of his top accounts.

The myth that agents cannot make money selling airline tickets officially been debunked. In an ever-tightening economy, one in which we’re all working harder than ever to provide our clients with the best service and the most for their money, it’s essential that we look at all potential revenue streams. As I noted in a previous column about my decision to switch host agencies, researching the best host for your needs is more important now than ever.

One of the key things you need to ask when interviewing a potential host is this: “What kind of airline commission contracts do you have?” If the host agency you’re considering looks at you like you’re crazy when you ask about airline commission contracts, chances are pretty good they’re not getting any of the “just checking to see if you need anything” emails from the major airline reps.

I bring all of this up for one reason—money. The truth is, if you align yourself with an agency that produces a high share of revenue for an airline, you can be looking at some serious income. In fact, something I didn’t know until very recently is that airlines not only still pay agents commission, but they also pay more than what used to be the standard 10 percent. But they certainly don’t pay these commissions to every agent or every agency out there, as used to be the case. The top-dollar commission contracts are reserved for the airlines’ best agency partners.

Trust me when I tell you I earned more booking one business-class ticket to London the other day than I did on a week-long honeymoon that took months to plan.

Granted, I’m not suggesting that all home-based agents should affiliate only with the biggest hosts or those that book a ton of flights (often for major corporate accounts). But if you find yourself in a situation where airline commissions aren’t part of your host agency’s compensation package, you might want to ask the agency owner to consider forming an alliance with one of the big agencies that does benefit from airline bookings.

Smaller agencies or independent, unaffiliated agents that take the time to approach the bigger agencies as potential partners will likely find that such a partnership will benefit all involved. I regularly hear agents and agency owners discussing this—and have learned that a number of such partnerships already exist.

How does this work? The smaller agency processes its airline tickets through a point person at the larger agency, and the higher bookings dictate the outcome. The airline is happy to have the business from one of its key partners, the larger agency can keep a percentage of the commission earned, and the smaller agency or independent agent earns money they’d otherwise have never seen.

Common sense dictates that the more revenue share that’s booked, the higher the commissions that are typically paid. But you end up benefiting by earning commission from a source you thought had cut agents out of the loop long ago.

To be honest, that’s what I thought ever since hearing the words “commission cuts” back in the mid-1990s. But take it from me: there’s serious money to be made booking international and sometimes even domestic airline tickets, though of course it varies by carrier. There’s even more serious money if you book premium-class tickets.

In this economy, we all need to get serious about finding new revenue sources, and partnering with host agencies that major airline reps actually take time to email and visit on a regular basis is one way to start.
