Hawaii now has more than 80 confirmed cases of H1N1

he number of confirmed cases of H1N1 Influenza A, or swine flu, in Hawaii has reached 82.

The Hawaii Department of Health on Friday updated its Web site to include 9 new cases on Oahu. Of the total 82 cases, 79 of those were on Oahu.

Hawaii residents with questions about H1N1 flu can call (866) 767-5044 ext. 3 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Or visit www.hawaii.gov/health or the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at www.cdc.gov/swineflu.
